ENTERING THE ADU ARCHITECTURAL COMPETITION?
ENTERING THE ADU ARCHITECTURAL COMPETITION?
Calling all Northeast architecture students! FBD NJIT is hosting an architectural competition for a local New Jersey organization, Montclair Gateway to Aging in Place (mGAP)!
mGAP is advocating for more widespread adoption of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and will use the Montclair ordinance as proof of concept to generate further dialogue within suburban Essex County and environs toward relaxation of existing zoning constraints where justified.
The competition entails designing a sample ADU for a real property in Montclair, NJ, to be used to illustrate the parameters of the ordinance.
